Access to mental health support is still too often determined by where we live or who we are. Mind is dedicated to fighting this injustice, and supporting people disproportionately affected by mental health issues; people from racialised communities, young people, and people living in poverty.
Together, we can build a society that works to support the mental health of every last one of us. But to get there, we need your support.
How my anxiety doesn't define who I am - Emily
The funds you raise by taking part in Move for Mind will help people like Emily. For Emily, her anxiety became really challenging when we entered a national lockdown in 2020. She decided to take on our exercise and fundraising challenge Move for Mind to improve her own wellbeing whilst raising money to support others. She talks about her journey with anxiety, what types of activity have helped her along the way and why Move for Mind worked for her. By supporting Mind, you are making sure that more people like Emily don’t have to face a mental health issue alone.
